To the One

I want to give thanks for abundance of love / And trust from above / For beauty and darkness, light and disguise / For You offer reason, you offer sight

How can I be faithful to all of Your might / For I feel so tiny -though I know wrong from right / So I ask for Your guidance, Your love and support / To pray to Your glory, with all of my heart

To You, God of heaven, Lord of the sky;
To the Guardian of angels, seated up high;
To the Lady of lovers, whose home is the earth;

Please hear of my prayer, so I may deserve

All of this goodness, all of this time
And -whatever may happen- these heartbeats of mine
And all my beloved ones, so close or away

For my night is over..

I welcome the day
