Lullaby

I find my way along the apple trees
Where sheep stroll stoicly the summer dyke
Holding onto earth
Way up high i see a clear blue sky
And geese in flight traversing light
Their cries ring in my head

The river sways with diamond-pride
Sparkling bright her gown tonight
I love her charming flow
Let’s sit here by the river side
And talk about the depths of life
