Confession

Small things meant a lot to whom long just gave up dreaming / Acknowledging the past, the little time we’ve had, / We once again let go of the mystery that we shared.. / Mine you never were –then, was I ever yours?

Entangled in arrest we’ve found our solitaire pursuits.

I thank you for your trust, as I owe you patient silence / For the many honest words that in time have found your ear. / As others came before me, still others will appear, / Though you chose to mend the gates of your once forsaken heart

Yet it’s better to fulfil the purer promise that you vowed..

With all the love you feared, you were once more lost in struggle; / But a true friend you have been, and perhaps for ever more. / The likes within our lives have come to manifest their goals, / As a whirling wind of grace has blown to cleans us of our past.

I know you’ll stand the day when compassion marks her bride..

I’m not ashamed at all of those moments that surprised me, / Though at times I wondered how you would appreciate their worth.. / Still, some tiny seeds were sowed in the garden of your virtue; / Now they sprang from final insight and illuminate your best.

How I wish you well..

For small things meant a lot / to whom long just gave up dreaming / Acknowledging the past, the little time we’ve had, / We once again let go of the mystery that we shared..

Yes: mine you ever were –as I was ever yours

In those moments of confession
